Being Home During Quarantine

I never imagined that my semester would be interrupted and I would be forced to come home. From having to switch to online classes to missing my friends and our planned social events, the whole experience has been frustrating. Although the P/NC's will undoubtedly increase my GPA, the marginal increase is not worth it. People always tell you college is the most fun of your life, and I can't help but feel cheated out of part of it.  I enjoyed being home at first, but now I'm tired of it. Being back home makes me feel like I'm back in high school with my freedom taken away. 5 Tips to Create Comedy During the Coronavirus & Coronavirus Humor

1) Laugh at the coronavirus. *Yes this is a serious topic, and it should absolutely be treated as one. People should strictly adhere to CDC guidelines and do their part in flattening the curve. That being said, laughing at something can help make it easier to deal with, and gives one control. This past Thursday I witnessed something that caused six of my friends and I to break out into uncontrollable laughter. My roommates and I were cleaning our house and putting some lights up on the walls in preparation for our fraternity mom's weekend. Our living room ceiling is double vaulted so we had to use a ladder to hang the lights. My roommate Joey was on the ladder hanging the lights, and I was unraveling and handing them to him. When we were around half way finished someone knocked on our door so Joey and I both went to answer the door. We let one of our friends in and then when we turned around our 4 month old cat was on the top of the ladder trying to, unsuccessfully, paw the hanging lights. One of us pointed it out so all six of my roommates and one of my friends were chuckling at our cat.
